Sempe – Tout se complique

I have several books by Sempé – don’t really know where I acquired them. But here they are in all their glory. Sempé is known for Le Petit Nicolas, a series of stories about a boy named Nicolas and his adventures with other childhood cronies. It seems to be autobiographical. The style of his drawings are very much prized by the New Yorker Magazine.

Tout se complique is part of his earlier work.
